Ragnarok Mobile is the mobile version of everyone's favorite 2D anime-style fantasy MMORPG, Ragnarok Online. Ragnarok Mobile TH is, I believe, the Thailand Server of Ragnarok Mobile and it's published by Asiasoft.

Ragnarok Mobile TH Reaches Key Milestones in its first month since launched

Asiasoft's First Mobile Title has been in Top 10 for Both Download and Gross Ranks in Thailand's App Chart

Bangkok, Thailand - Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited ("Asiasoft") today announces the key milestones of Ragnarok Mobile TH after its launch in Thailand on both Apple App Store and Google Play on 15th January 2014.

Ragnarok Mobile TH is a MMORPG based on the popular Ragnarok Online series which features anime-styled graphic, as well as full online RPG gameplay such as dungeons, quests and boss hunts, all catered for smart phone devices.

Below is the list of key milestones achieved during Ragnarok Mobile TH launch period (15 January - 5 February 2014):

l  First introduced to Thai public at PlayPark Fan Fest last year (October 2013), Ragnarok Mobile TH was launched for public download via Apple App Store and Google Play on 15th January 2014 and rose to top of the Downloaded iOS chart during the first few days of it launch.

l  Ragnarok Mobile Thailand Cash Shop started its operation on 15th January 2014 and up till 6th February 2014, the game maintains to be in the top 5 grossing game for both iOS and Google Play Chart.

l  Asiasoft launches the latest update for the game (1.04) on 4th February 2014, which features key improvement, such as a better login system, more compatible and consistency of connection while playing, and improve combine card system for IOS.

Ragnarok Online 2 SEA Open Beta Launches On January 3, 2013

The first English server of Ragnarok Online 2 was supposed to launch its Open Beta period last December 27, 2012 but that launch never happened. Well, it kinda did for a brief moment but it was eventually shutdown because the server was not able to handle the volume of players who tried to login and play the game.

Obviously, the publisher was not prepared to handle that many users at once which is very common with most MMORPG launches. Hopefully, the Open Beta launch tomorrow will not have the same problems as before. If not then it will disappoint a lot of players worldwide (or NOT).

Ragnarok Online 2 is the sequel to Ragnarok Online but, unlike the original, Ragnarok Online 2 or RO2 is now in 3D. The sad thing about this Open Beta Launch is the fact that players from outside Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam will have no access to the game. It sucks but it has something to do with licensing which means the SEA server of RO2 is only for SEA players.

According to some post in the official RO2 Sea forum, North America and the Philippines will have their own English server of RO2 in the first quarter of 2013.

Anyway, with only four countries having access to the game, the amount of traffic the game server will get will not be the same as before. Of course, everyone from all over can still try to login to their accounts. If they can login then good for them. If not then they'll just have to wait for their own server of RO2 to serve their country or region.
