Wakfu Asia - What Happened? Account Transfers?

Wakfu Asia, what happened? Is it gone forever?

Today, when I went to Wakfu Asia's website to check for news and updates about the game, I was greeted by an account transfer page. Why? I have no freaking idea.

I still went through with the account transfer process even though there was no information about why it was happening or why I have to transfer my account. I also encountered a small problem during the process.

The problem was about my username but I fixed it by changing or using a different username and, after that, my account was transferred from Wakfu Asia to Wakfu International or something.

Anyway guys, I'm happy to report that there is still an Asian server and that my characters are still there. As to why the transfer was necessary, unfortunately, I have no answer to that question.

Wakfu Vietnam, Localized Content For Vietnamese Players

Wakfu Vietnam brings localized content to Wakfu players in Vietnam.

I just want to share this update from our friends in Wakfu Asia. Wakfu, the massively multiplayer online tactical role-playing game, is now available in Vietnam and it's published by Like.vn.

Wakfu players in Vietnam can now enjoy a localized version of the game as well as a localized version of the Wakfu website where they can register an account, download the game and access the online store.

Players will be able to access Wakfu Vietnam using either an Ankama account or the Like ID and they will also be able to use their Like ID to purchase Wakfu's online currency through Like.vn's prepaid system.

Eliotrope In Wakfu Asia, New Character Created

The Eliotrope is a new character class in Wakfu and in Wakfu Asia. That's why I spent a few minutes of my time to play Wakfu and create a new character using the Eliotrope class.

The Eliotrope class was released this month, December 2014, and this new class was born via an accident by the God King. Don't ask me what the accident was because I simply don't know. LOL!.

From the very little information that I know about Wakfu, the Eliotrope race is basically the same as the Eliatrope race which is an ancient race that no longer exist, except maybe for Yugo.

Yes, Yugo is an Eliatrope and I believe he was or is also the God King who accidentally created the Eliotropes. For those who don't know who Yugo is, he is the main character in the animation series of Wakfu.

Both the Eliatrope and Eliotrope race know the secret of Wakfu.

Wakfu Asia PvP Update

The biggest update ever to happen in Wakfu Asia and it's focused on PvP between Nations.

This PvP update will center around the war between those playing as Guards and those playing as Rebels. Nations will now be able to fight each other in PvP battles that are going to be intense, exciting and full of action.

You as a player can choose to defend your Nation as a Guard or you can choose to fight against it by joining the Riktus Clan. The Riktus Clan is hell bent on world domination and it will do anything and everything to achieve it.

Other cool and exciting features in this update are the following:

• Astrub Revamp: The village is transformed into a fortified city!
• Arrival of the Riktus Bandits and New PvP Feature:  With a gameplay full of surprises and new rules of alliances.
• Combat Rules Modifications: Speed / Lock / Dodge have received a makeover.
• Mercenaries and Otomai Disciples Posts: Located in each region with contracts and quests helping you to progress.
• "Easy" Dungeons: A new mode making it easier to do dungeons with only two Sidekicks.
• Smoother Progression: A new evolution including an automatic gain of MP and AP at certain levels, new abilities and even a revamp of the character characteristics evolution system…
