The 7th Class Is Here And It's The Assassin, Dragon Nest SEA

In the upcoming patch of Dragon Nest SEA, players will have a new class to play with and this new class is none other than the Assassin. This was the main topic or subject matter of Asiasoft's latest Press Release.

The Assassin is a class based on Strength and Agility which is not different from other Assassin classes from other MMORPGs. The Assassin is basically a damage dealer and its skills are all designed to deal great amounts of damage.

Back in the days of Khan Online, the Assassin in that game can take down a high level Knight, which is the the Tank class of the game, with one shot.

According to the Press Release, the new class, the Assassin, doubled the game's player base when it was launched because of the character's unique design. The arrival of the Assassin will also add a whole lot of other changes.

The Assassin class will also have its first upgrade path included in the update. This upgrade path is for the Chaser. Chasers can then upgrade either to Rippers or Ravens.

The introduction of the Assassin class also introduces two new game mechanics and these are the stealth mechanism and charging mechanism. Stealth makes players hidden from sight while charging makes skill attacks deal more damage in exchange for longer cool-downs.

Along with the new class, the game update will also introduce a new dungeon called the Guardian's Nest. Completing this dungeon will reward players with rare materials to craft the epic "Full/New Moon" weapon and armor set. By the way, only the Solo and Normal Mode will be released in this patch.

Dragon Nest Level 70: The Rise of Cities 

Level 70 content update introduces whole new zone with 5 dungeons, 5 bosses and countless skill updates! 

SINGAPORE — February 10, 2014 — Valiant heroes of Dragon Nest SEA who are looking to max out their character levels, and take on the role of defender for peace in this epic game, rejoice. Shanda Games International (SDGi) has announced the launch of the game’s Level 70 content update, scheduled for release on 11 February 2014!

Players will witness the destruction of Saint Haven in this update. In an invasion of the grand city led by the traitor Ignacio, Saint Haven will be razed to the ground by the Black Dragon. Dragon Nest Goes Gangnam Style

Gangnam Style or Oppa Gangnam Style has taken the internet and other media by storm. It's now the most LIKED video in YouTube and people of all ages, status, religion, race and ethnicity are very much into it. Can you blame them?

The song is in Korean but it has a very catchy tune and, to top that off, it has a very weird yet funny dance steps. Combine those two and you got something that makes people want to dance like crazy. The song is so popular that it's been featured in various television shows in the US and in other countries.

Now, what does it got to do with Dragon Nest or with any MMO for that matter? Well, it seems that the developers of Dragon Nest have picked-up the dance steps and placed them into the game. If you love the song and the dance steps then you can now perform the dance with your character in Dragon Nest.

Unfortunately, the new Gangnam Style Dance Move is currently available only in Dragon Nest CN. Will it become available in Dragon Nest NA and Dragon Nest SEA? Well, there are no news about it yet but if it's already in Dragon Nest CN then it'll just be a matter of time before it becomes available to all Dragon Nest regions.

Dragon Nest SEA, Step-By-Step Guide, How To Register Or Sign-Up Successfully

OMG! Some of you are still having problems creating an account in Dragon Nest SEA. I'm not sure what all of you are doing wrong but I've created this very simple Step-By-Step Guide to help you successfully create an account in Dragon Nest SEA. Just follow the steps listed in this How-To or Guide and you'll soon find yourself playing the game.

The first thing you need to do to create an account in Dragon Nest SEA is to go to the official Dragon Nest SEA website. Type this URL into your browser's address bar or field and press enter, http://dn.cherrycredits.com.

Wait for the entire homepage of the website to load before clicking the Signup link located at the top-right hand corner of the page. Clicking the Signup link will open the Sign-Up Page.

(Fill-up the sign-up form with your information)

Just fill-up the form with your information. If you want, you can enter your real Personal Information in the form or if you value your privacy too much then you can enter a fake one instead. The sign-up page won't care if the information you enter is real or not.

(Your sign-up will fail if you don't fill-up everything)

After filling-up the sign-up form, click the red I Accept button below it to submit the form for processing. If there are no problems with your filled-up sign-up form then you'll be taken to a Thank You page. It will tell you Verify your e-mail address to complete the sign-up process.

To verify your e-mail address, just login to your e-mail account or to whatever e-mail account you used in the sign-up form. In your Inbox, try to find an e-mail with the subject Cherry Exchange: Activation E-mail, open it and click on the activation link to activate your new Dragon Nest SEA account.

Clicking the Activation Link will take you to the Account Activation Page. All you have to do here to activate your account is enter the characters displayed in the Captcha form. Click the red Confirm button to process it.

If there are no problems with the characters you entered in the Captcha form then you'll get a Congratulations message on the Account Activation page. It will also say "Activation Completed" and "You have successfully activation your account".

Now, to test your new account, simply click on the red Go to my Cherry Exchange now! button. Clicking this button will automatically log you in to your newly created account in Dragon Nest SEA or Cherry Credits (they're somewhat related).

US Players Should Sign-Up With Dragon Nest NA (Nexon) And Not WithDragon Nest SEA

It looks like many players from the US are trying to register or sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA and, obviously, they are having problems with it because US players are blocked from Dragon Nest SEA. Instead of trying to sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA, US players should try signing-up in Dragon Nest NA which is published by Nexon.

I am basing my observation from the number of US visitors that visited my post titled "Dragon Nest SEA, Registration Error, New Players Can’t Register". This post got 2.41K visits from the US from October 23, 2011 to November 22, 2011. It just shows that many players from the US are having problems creating an account in Dragon Nest.

Most of my post about Dragon Nest are for Dragon Nest SEA so, my guess is, these players from the US are trying to sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA instead of Dragon Nest NA. Besides, I don't think they will get an error if they sign-up in Dragon Nest NA because Dragon Nest NA is the correct server and region for them.

Players from the following countries are blocked from signing-up and playing in Dragon Nest SEA.

1. Korea
2. Japan
3. United States of America
4. Canada
5. Taiwan
6. China
7. Australia
8. Thailand

If you are from any of the listed countries then I would not bother signing-up in Dragon Nest SEA because you'll just get an error. See if your country or region has its own Dragon Nest server and sign-up in it instead of Dragon Nest SEA.

How To Register An Account In Dragon Nest SEA?

Some, if not many, players are having issues in signing-up or registering a new account in Dragon Nest SEA. I have no idea why these players are having such a hard time signing-up. The only reason I could think of, as to why players can't sign-up or register is, if they are in the countries blocked by Dragon Nest SEA from accessing the game like Korea, Japan, United States of America, Canada, Taiwan, China, Australia and Thailand.

From what I've read in the announcement, the reason for the IP block is because these countries have their own localized version of Dragon Nest. US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are under Dragon Nest NA which is published by Nexon. If you can't play in Dragon Nest SEA then try playing in Dragon Nest NA. As for EU or European players, I think they can still play in Dragon Nest SEA but that might change once Dragon Nest EU starts operating.

Okay, for those players who are not blocked by Dragon Nest SEA but who are having problems signing-up, here is a simple guide on how to sign-up or register a new Dragon Nest SEA account for FREE.

1. Visit the official website of Dragon Nest SEA
2. Click on the Sign-Up link located at the top-right corner of the website
3. Fill-up the form with your e-mail address, game ID, password and text from the anti-spam image
4. Agree to the TOS and Privacy Policy of the game by clicking on the check box and finally click on the Sign-Up button to process your application

After that, an activation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you used to sign-up for Dragon Nest SEA. You must check your e-mail for the activation e-mail and you must click on the provided activation link to activate your Dragon Nest SEA account. It will open a new page where you must enter the displayed image code in the text box to finalize the activation.

By the way, you can't sign-up accounts one after the other. The sign-up process has a limit on how many accounts can be registered per IP address. If you are planning on creating more than one Dragon Nest SEA account then wait for a few moments before trying to sign-up again. I guess they are trying to limit the amount of account created by spammers in-game.

Anyway, I was able to sign-up a few accounts today because I needed to get information and screenshots for this blog post. If you are having problems signing-up then you could probably use one of them. Just make sure to change the password and pin immediately so that only you can use the account. Please place a comment if you did use one of the listed Dragon Nest SEA accounts so that I could cross them out.
