C9, Continent of the Ninth Seal, Open Beta

C9 or Continent of the Ninth Seal is a fantasy themed action-oriented Online Multiplayer RPG. The game is published by Webzen and it's Free-To-Play. You can download the installer from the official website. Just make sure you have enough free space for it because the size of the installer is around 4.6 GB. It took me a while to download all of it but if you have a fast internet connection then it will only take you a few minutes.

(C9, Continent of the Ninth Seal)

As an action-oriented Online Multiplayer RPG, C9 is somewhat similar to Dragon Nest and Vindictus. All dungeons or maps or stages in C9 are instanced. As far as I know, C9 has no open world. You can only explore the towns and the dungeons or stages. Without an open world, C9, like Dragon Nest and Vindictus, is not a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) because there is nothing massive about it.

C9 will let you choose and play one of four character classes. These are the Fighter, Hunter, Shaman and Witchblade. You can customize them to your liking but you won't be able to choose or change your character's gender. Character classes in C9 are gender locked.

If you want a male character then you can choose between the Fighter and the Hunter. If you want a female character then your choices are the Shaman and the Witchblade. You can't have a female Fighter nor a male Shaman. If gender selection is a big deal for you then I don't think you'll be able to enjoy this game.

The graphics of C9 looks dated but it's still pretty good for a Free-To-Play game. If you are having problems with lag or low FPS then simply switch your video settings to low and you'll be fine.

Controlling or moving your character in C9 is also pretty simple because it uses the standard ASWD keys. Skills are executed either by pressing a hot key or by mouse buttons and keyboard keys combos. It may sound complex but it's really very easy to do. Also, chaining skills will result to massive combos.

C9 has all the standard features found in any Online Multiplayer RPG like PvP, Party System, Guild System, Crafting, Quests, Mail System, Auction House, Mentor System, etc. Among these features, I find the Intrusion System fun. As the name implies, Intrusion will allow you to intrude in another player's dungeon or stage. You must then kill the player or players in the dungeon to complete your intrusion.

The combat in C9 is rather repetitive but if you find hacking and slashing through dungeons with hordes of monsters fun then you should at least give C9 a try. The game has lots of action. Just watch your Combo counter because you might see yourself executing extremely high Combo numbers.

Anyway, C9 is currently in Open Beta. Playing the game during this period will reward you with Bonus Experience Points or XP. This will make your character level-up faster. See if you can reach Level 50 before Open Beta ends.

How To Get The Burst Fire Sub Machine Gun (BFSMG) In Blacklight:Retribution?

Are you playing Blacklight: Retribution? If you are then maybe you've heard about the Burst Fire Sub Machine Gun or Burst Fire SMG or BFSMG. According to the developers of Blacklight: Retribution, the Burst Fire SMG is currently a preview weapon. It's not officially in the game yet but it will be, SOON!

Now, you might have seen some players using it in-game and if you are wondering how they got it then I'll gladly tell you. As a preview weapon, the Burst Fire SMG is currently not available to everyone but some players have it already because the company developing Blacklight: Retribution gave away special codes at the recently concluded E3.

Redeeming these special E3 Codes will award you the following in-game items:

• 1 permanent Burst Fire Sub Machine Gun receiver
• 1 permanent Secret Silver Armor camo and,
• 1 permanent Secret Silver Weapon camo

How can you get one of these special E3 Codes? As the name implies, these special codes were given at and during E3. Zombie Studios also gave away a bunch of these codes on their Twitter account.

Are they still giving away these E3 Codes? According to their latest Patch Minute video for patch 0.971, they are still giving away these E3 Codes for the preview weapon, Burst Fire SMG. So, if you still want to get your dirty hands on this weapon then simply follow @ZombieStudios in Twitter and watch out for their giveaway Tweet.

How does the Burst Fire SMG performs in-game? Unfortunately, I can't give you any insights on how this particular weapon performs because I'm a terrible first-person-shooter player. I did try using it but, unfortunately, I did very poorly. I couldn't hit a thing with it. Other players might do well with the Burst Fire SMG but it's definitely not for me.

As stated above, you'll also get 1 permanent Secret Silver Armor camo and 1 permanent Secret Silver Weapon camo. If you happen to not like the Burst Fire SMG then you'd probably like these two items because they'll make you look cool and shiny in-game.

Anyway, if you are into shooting games like Karma Online, Kill On Sight, Point Blank, War Rock, APB, Counter-Strike, etc. then you should definitely give Blacklight: Retribution a try. It's a triple A shooting game with tons of features for you to enjoy but the best part of it is, it's FREE and it's NOT Pay2Win.

Free Blacklight Retribution Code From Raptr Rewards

Currently, Raptr is giving away Free Blacklight Retribution Codes through their Raptr Rewards program. The codes are available to Raptr users that play Blacklight Retribution that has a rank of Newbie and Amateur.

Bleach MMORPG? Yes, It Exist And You Can Play It For FREE!

Today, I chanced upon an MMORPG based on one of my favorite anime, Bleach. I was actually searching for new episodes of Bleach in Google when one of the search results mentioned something about a Bleach MMORPG. I visited the link and it brought me to a YouTube video that showed Ishida shooting some monsters.

Ishida is one of the main characters in Bleach. He is part of Ichigo's group and he is a Quincy. He is also Ichigo's classmate and his weapon is somekind of spirit bow that shoots spirit arrows. He wears a white outfit in the anime and he wears the same outfit in the YouTube video that showed him shooting some monters.

The YouTube video has a link in the description that points to the site where you can sign-up, download and install the game. The game client is less than 1 GB and it would probably take you an hour to download it. To play the game after installing it, simply run the game launcher by double clicking its icon and login with your username and password.

To get started, you must first create your Character. You can choose from Ichigo, Rukia and Ishida. For my game, I went with Ichigo and named him Kabalyero. I didn't change anything from the default look of the character. I kept him looking like Ichigo in the Anime with black robes, orange-colored hair and that big sword of his.

In game, you move your character by clicking on the ground and you attack a monster by clicking on it. Pressing W will open up the Map of the area and pressing C will open up your Character window. Pressing Z will open up the System window and pressing X will hide the graphics interface.

(Bleach MMORPG, Byakuya)

I didn't do much of anything in the game. I just took my character outside and killed a few foxes. I also only saved a few minutes of video and took screenshots of my character with some of the NPCs in the game like Byakuya, Urahara, Yoruichi, Kenpachi and others. All of them are characters from the anime.

Anyway, if you would like to explore the world of Soul Society in Bleach MMORPG then download the game, install it and play. Just don't expect anything exciting from it though. From what I can tell, the game is simply a mod or modification of another MMORPG. Nevertheless, Bleach fans might just enjoy a few minutes of killing monsters as Ichigo, Rukia or Ishida in Bleach MMORPG.

Bigpoint Might Pick-Up and Co-Publish Star Trek: Infinite Space

Because of the recent happenings within Gameforge, the survival of Star Trek: Infinite Space is currently hanging by a thread if no one helps out to co-publish the game. Fortunately, Bigpoint has expressed an interest in co-publishing the game with Gameforge. Does this mean that Star Trek: Infinite Space will be published as scheduled?

Unfortunately, an agreement between the two publishers has not yet been reached. If this is true then Gameforge should definitely grab this opportunity specially if they want to save the game from cancellation. They were looking for a co-publisher for Star Trek: Infinite Space before and, with Bigpoint expressing an interest, it looks like they might just get one.

Star Trek: Infinite Space is a Space Sci-Fi Themed MMO based on Star Trek Deep Space Nine series. From what I've seen in some of the video trailers of the game, the action in Star Trek: Infinite Space all happens in space. None of the video trailers showed any planetary combat or exploration.

Currently, the planned or scheduled Beta for Star Trek: Infinite is on-hold while Gameforge searches for a co-publisher for the game and that co-publisher, if everything turns out okay, could be Bigpoint. Obviously, the Beta of Star Trek: Infinite Space will proceed once Gameforge finds a co-publisher for it.

Until then, you will just have to sit back and wait. If you can't wait to get your Star Trek fix then you can always try Star Trek Online by Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment. It's a different game by a different company but both are based on the Star Trek license.

US Players Should Sign-Up With Dragon Nest NA (Nexon) And Not WithDragon Nest SEA

It looks like many players from the US are trying to register or sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA and, obviously, they are having problems with it because US players are blocked from Dragon Nest SEA. Instead of trying to sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA, US players should try signing-up in Dragon Nest NA which is published by Nexon.

I am basing my observation from the number of US visitors that visited my post titled "Dragon Nest SEA, Registration Error, New Players Can’t Register". This post got 2.41K visits from the US from October 23, 2011 to November 22, 2011. It just shows that many players from the US are having problems creating an account in Dragon Nest.

Most of my post about Dragon Nest are for Dragon Nest SEA so, my guess is, these players from the US are trying to sign-up in Dragon Nest SEA instead of Dragon Nest NA. Besides, I don't think they will get an error if they sign-up in Dragon Nest NA because Dragon Nest NA is the correct server and region for them.

Players from the following countries are blocked from signing-up and playing in Dragon Nest SEA.

1. Korea
2. Japan
3. United States of America
4. Canada
5. Taiwan
6. China
7. Australia
8. Thailand

If you are from any of the listed countries then I would not bother signing-up in Dragon Nest SEA because you'll just get an error. See if your country or region has its own Dragon Nest server and sign-up in it instead of Dragon Nest SEA.
