Counter Stike Map De Dust2 In Arctic Combat

One of the most popular Counter Strike Maps is de_dust2. I remember playing hundreds of hours in that particular counter strike map many, many years ago when Counter Strike was still the dominant multiplayer first-person shooting game. I got to play that counter strike map again in the recently concluded Counter Strike: Global Offensive Beta.

The new de_dust2 counter strike map in CS:GO Beta looked a hundred times better than the original counter strike map but the mechanics and dynamics that made it very popular was still there. Now, if you missed the chance playing this counter strike map in CS: GO Beta then you're in-luck because de_dust2 made an appearance in Arctic Combat.

An Arctic Combat map similar to counter strike map de_dust2 appeared in the game but it wasn't called de_dust2. They called it Sand Storm and, except for the texture and a few details, it's almost an exact duplicate of de_dust2. A story about it was posted at PC Gamer and a video of the Arctic Combat map is also in YouTube.

I've never played Arctic Combat before but, by just watching the video of the map in YouTube, I could easily tell that the map was de_dust2. Everything about Sand Storm screams counter strike map de_dust2. From the hallways to the bombing area, all of it reminded me of counter strike map de_dust2.

Obviously, the YouTube video received a ton of negative reactions from the gaming community. Out of 361 people who rated the video, 328 of it were dislikes and I can't blame them for disliking it. I'm sure the dislikes won't stop there because fans just don't like seeing their favorite counter strike map slapped on another game.

Play This Counter Strike Map In Arctic Combat

By the way, Arctic Combat is a new free-to-play first-person shooter published by Webzen. It's currently in Close Beta but you'll need a Close Beta Key to participate in it. If you want a Close Beta Key then you could probably get one from the ones listed in this forum thread.

I received an invite to join the Close Beta of Arctic Combat but it didn't come with a Close Beta Key. I guess, it was just a generic e-mail sent to all registered Webzen members.

Is The Sand Storm Map A Homage To de_dust2?

I have no freaking idea because there wasn't any mention that it was a homage in the YouTube video. I also didn't find any mention of it in the official website of Arctic Combat. If it was a homage to counter strike map de_dust2 then there should be a mention of it somewhere.

In any case, if you like first-person shooting games then have a look at Arctic Combat. I have it installed but I couldn't play it because I don't have a Close Beta Key. LOL!

Ghost Recon Online Open Beta, Go Get Your Shooting Fix

Well, Ghost Recon Online is now in Open Beta and everyone can now download, install and play the game for FREE. It's a tactical third-person shooter with emphasis on TEAM PLAY. Ghost Recon Online will have three classes available to players to choose from. The three classes are Assault, Specialist and Recon and each one will have different ways of providing offensive and defensive support for the team. The combination of all three classes in a team and how they are used can determine victory or defeat.

Ghost Recon Online is Free-To-Play

As a Free-To-Play game, players of Ghost Recon Online will have full access to the game. Anyone can download, install and play it without spending anything. All you need is a free Uplay account to play the game. If you don't have a Uplay account yet then create one. It will only take you a couple of minutes.

Full access means, players will have access to all classes, game modes, weapons, armors and modifications but new equipments, items and abilities are locked by level. This means, you'll have to play the game and gain the necessary levels to unlock them. This is where the use of real cash comes in because you can unlock them early by spending real cash but this is optional.

Ghost Recon Online has a good level of weapon and armor customization by using weapon attachments and armor inserts. These attachments and inserts will greatly enhance your character's combat abilities or performance and you'll get access to them by gaining levels. Ghost Recon Online's total download size is less than 2GB. If you have a slow internet connection then it might take you a few hours to finish downloading it. I'm currently downloading it and I'm at 10% already. It will take me a couple of hours, at least, to finish downloading it.

C9, Continent of the Ninth Seal, Open Beta

C9 or Continent of the Ninth Seal is a fantasy themed action-oriented Online Multiplayer RPG. The game is published by Webzen and it's Free-To-Play. You can download the installer from the official website. Just make sure you have enough free space for it because the size of the installer is around 4.6 GB. It took me a while to download all of it but if you have a fast internet connection then it will only take you a few minutes.

(C9, Continent of the Ninth Seal)

As an action-oriented Online Multiplayer RPG, C9 is somewhat similar to Dragon Nest and Vindictus. All dungeons or maps or stages in C9 are instanced. As far as I know, C9 has no open world. You can only explore the towns and the dungeons or stages. Without an open world, C9, like Dragon Nest and Vindictus, is not a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) because there is nothing massive about it.

C9 will let you choose and play one of four character classes. These are the Fighter, Hunter, Shaman and Witchblade. You can customize them to your liking but you won't be able to choose or change your character's gender. Character classes in C9 are gender locked.

If you want a male character then you can choose between the Fighter and the Hunter. If you want a female character then your choices are the Shaman and the Witchblade. You can't have a female Fighter nor a male Shaman. If gender selection is a big deal for you then I don't think you'll be able to enjoy this game.

The graphics of C9 looks dated but it's still pretty good for a Free-To-Play game. If you are having problems with lag or low FPS then simply switch your video settings to low and you'll be fine.

Controlling or moving your character in C9 is also pretty simple because it uses the standard ASWD keys. Skills are executed either by pressing a hot key or by mouse buttons and keyboard keys combos. It may sound complex but it's really very easy to do. Also, chaining skills will result to massive combos.

C9 has all the standard features found in any Online Multiplayer RPG like PvP, Party System, Guild System, Crafting, Quests, Mail System, Auction House, Mentor System, etc. Among these features, I find the Intrusion System fun. As the name implies, Intrusion will allow you to intrude in another player's dungeon or stage. You must then kill the player or players in the dungeon to complete your intrusion.

The combat in C9 is rather repetitive but if you find hacking and slashing through dungeons with hordes of monsters fun then you should at least give C9 a try. The game has lots of action. Just watch your Combo counter because you might see yourself executing extremely high Combo numbers.

Anyway, C9 is currently in Open Beta. Playing the game during this period will reward you with Bonus Experience Points or XP. This will make your character level-up faster. See if you can reach Level 50 before Open Beta ends.

How To Get The Burst Fire Sub Machine Gun (BFSMG) In Blacklight:Retribution?

Are you playing Blacklight: Retribution? If you are then maybe you've heard about the Burst Fire Sub Machine Gun or Burst Fire SMG or BFSMG. According to the developers of Blacklight: Retribution, the Burst Fire SMG is currently a preview weapon. It's not officially in the game yet but it will be, SOON!

Redeeming these special E3 Codes will award you the following in-game items:

• 1 permanent Secret Silver Armor camo and,
• 1 permanent Secret Silver Weapon camo

How can you get one of these special E3 Codes? As the name implies, these special codes were given at and during E3. Zombie Studios also gave away a bunch of these codes on their Twitter account.

Are they still giving away these E3 Codes? According to their latest Patch Minute video for patch 0.971, they are still giving away these E3 Codes for the preview weapon, Burst Fire SMG. So, if you still want to get your dirty hands on this weapon then simply follow @ZombieStudios in Twitter and watch out for their giveaway Tweet.

How does the Burst Fire SMG performs in-game? Unfortunately, I can't give you any insights on how this particular weapon performs because I'm a terrible first-person-shooter player. I did try using it but, unfortunately, I did very poorly. I couldn't hit a thing with it. Other players might do well with the Burst Fire SMG but it's definitely not for me.

As stated above, you'll also get 1 permanent Secret Silver Armor camo and 1 permanent Secret Silver Weapon camo. If you happen to not like the Burst Fire SMG then you'd probably like these two items because they'll make you look cool and shiny in-game.

Anyway, if you are into shooting games like Karma Online, Kill On Sight, Point Blank, War Rock, APB, Counter-Strike, etc. then you should definitely give Blacklight: Retribution a try. Currently, Raptr is giving away Free Blacklight Retribution Codes through their Raptr Rewards program. The codes are available to Raptr users that play Blacklight Retribution that has a rank of Newbie and Amateur.

Bleach MMORPG? Yes, It Exist And You Can Play It For FREE!

Today, I chanced upon an MMORPG based on one of my favorite anime, Bleach. I was actually searching for new episodes of Bleach in Google when one of the search results mentioned something about a Bleach MMORPG. I visited the link and it brought me to a YouTube video that showed Ishida shooting some monsters.

Ishida is one of the main characters in Bleach. He is part of Ichigo's group and he is a Quincy. He is also Ichigo's classmate and his weapon is somekind of spirit bow that shoots spirit arrows. He wears a white outfit in the anime and he wears the same outfit in the YouTube video that showed him shooting some monters.

The YouTube video has a link in the description that points to the site where you can sign-up, download and install the game. The game client is less than 1 GB and it would probably take you an hour to download it. To play the game after installing it, simply run the game launcher by double clicking its icon and login with your username and password.

(Bleach MMORPG)

To get started, you must first create your Character. You can choose from Ichigo, Rukia and Ishida. For my game, I went with Ichigo and named him Kabalyero. I didn't change anything from the default look of the character. I kept him looking like Ichigo in the Anime with black robes, orange-colored hair and that big sword of his.

In game, you move your character by clicking on the ground and you attack a monster by clicking on it. Pressing W will open up the Map of the area and pressing C will open up your Character window. Pressing Z will open up the System window and pressing X will hide the graphics interface.

(Bleach MMORPG, Byakuya)

I didn't do much of anything in the game. I just took my character outside and killed a few foxes. I also only saved a few minutes of video and took screenshots of my character with some of the NPCs in the game like Byakuya, Urahara, Yoruichi, Kenpachi and others. All of them are characters from the anime.

Anyway, if you would like to explore the world of Soul Society in Bleach MMORPG then download the game, install it and play. Just don't expect anything exciting from it though. From what I can tell, the game is simply a mod or modification of another MMORPG. Nevertheless, Bleach fans might just enjoy a few minutes of killing monsters as Ichigo, Rukia or Ishida in Bleach MMORPG.
