The Assassin is a class based on Strength and Agility which is not different from other Assassin classes from other MMORPGs. The Assassin is basically a damage dealer and its skills are all designed to deal great amounts of damage.
Back in the days of Khan Online, the Assassin in that game can take down a high level Knight, which is the the Tank class of the game, with one shot.
According to the Press Release, the new class, the Assassin, doubled the game's player base when it was launched because of the character's unique design. The arrival of the Assassin will also add a whole lot of other changes.
The Assassin class will also have its first upgrade path included in the update. This upgrade path is for the Chaser. Chasers can then upgrade either to Rippers or Ravens.
The introduction of the Assassin class also introduces two new game mechanics and these are the stealth mechanism and charging mechanism. Stealth makes players hidden from sight while charging makes skill attacks deal more damage in exchange for longer cool-downs.
Along with the new class, the game update will also introduce a new dungeon called the Guardian's Nest. Completing this dungeon will reward players with rare materials to craft the epic "Full/New Moon" weapon and armor set. By the way, only the Solo and Normal Mode will be released in this patch.
