[Press Release] New Strife Tournament Kicks Off On October

 Level Up!, the country’s largest online game publisher, is proud to announce the launch of The Strife Brawl Tournament, a series of online play-offs where Strife gamers stand a chance to win P1,500 daily and as much as P100,000 monthly. This exciting new competition also marks the very first time in Philippine gaming history that a game is giving away daily prizes for an online tournament.

The contest which starts on October 4 is comprised of weekly, weekend, and monthly brawls, each with cash prizes at stake for the winning teams and their partner cafés.

Daily Brawls happen every Monday to Friday. The team who wins a Daily Brawl will qualify for the Weekend Brawl, and they can choose between Php1,500 cash or Php2,500 worth of Level Up! load as their prize. The partner cafe of the winning team and the cafe bantay (shop attendant) each get to choose between Php500 or P700 worth of Level Up! load.

Weekend Brawls are scheduled every Saturday. The last team standing in a Weekend Brawl will qualify for the Monthly Brawl and get to take home Php10,000 cash, with their partner cafe and the cafe bantay winning Php5,000 each.

Monthly Brawls are held every last Sunday of the month, and the stakes have never been higher. The Monthly Brawl champion will bring home a whopping Php25,000 in cash, with their partner cafe and cafe bantay winning Php12,500 each. Qualified teams from distant areas will be flown-in to the Monthly Brawl venue all expenses paid!

“We’re excited to launch this new tournament because of what it means for players and internet cafés,” says Playweb General Manager Jake San Diego. “Aside from the fact that daily online tournaments with daily prizes have never been done before, we feel that this type of tournament contributes positively to the steady growth of the Philippine pro-gaming scene.”

Strife is a free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game developed by American company S2 Games. With features like gold sharing, customizable items, and a pet system for that extra hand in battle. Strife is designed to take the stress out of the usual battle arena game. Strife is published locally by Playweb Games under the Level Up! brand in the Philippines.
