The Open Beta of RaiderZ starts on October 24, 2012 but those who bought a Founder's Pack have Early Access to the game which is kinda like an extra perk for buying a Founder's Pack. Early Access starts earlier than the actual Open Beta launch. In fact, it already started but some players who bought a Founder's Pack are having difficulties logging in.
This is not really a problem because they could just wait for the actual Open Beta launch of the game. Unfortunately, there are players who bought a Founders Pack, not because of the items but, because of the Early Access and if they can't login to play after paying for the privilege then they just wasted their money.
Is this some kind of scam? In a way, it is because the publisher advertised something like getting an Early Access to the game if players buy this and that and, when players bought it, they didn't get to enjoy it because they couldn't login to the game. Basically, the publisher took the players' money but didn't deliver the goods and that sounds like a scam.
Unfortunately, those players who bought a Founder's Pack because of the Early Access can't do anything except wait for the publisher to resolve the problem on their end. The problem with waiting is, these players are slowly losing what they paid for and that's Early Access to the game. If it takes the publisher a day to fix or resolve this problem then everyone who bought a Founder's Pack because of the Early Access won't get nor enjoy what they paid for.
Seriously, some of these players have no interest in the Founder's Pack but they still spent $9.99 USD for it because of the advertised guaranteed Early Access. Early Access is now LIVE but many of these players are not enjoying or getting what they paid for. This will reflect badly on the publisher and it will discourage these players from purchasing anything from them again.
Hopefully, this problem with the Early Access gets resolved soon because, if not then the number of raging Early Access buyers will only increase. Obviously, the hours lost are gone for good since no one can turn back time but, as a sign of good faith, the publisher should, at least, offer some kind of compensation specially when these players paid good money for it.
For now, those who are thinking of buying a Founder's Pack to get Early Access should probably think it over carefully. As you can see, paying good money for Early Access to RaiderZ will not guarantee you access at all. You will only lose your hard earn cash in the process.
